I am principally a vintage dance enthusiast. I am currently the artistic director of The Academy of Danse Libre, an organization that specializes in vintage dances from the 1850s to the 1930s. If you are ever in the San Francisco Bay Area, please come out and see us perform!
This website is an attempt to help me organize information and images relating to the dances we perform in such a way that I can easily access them. For the purposes of this website, I largely rely on libraries and online sources. There are many resources available online. I have listed the sources I consult on the Sources and Links page.
